Our July guest designer...Heather Rolin!

We are so excited to have Heather joining us this month! Did you know she designs some of Unity's fabulous stamps?! And she is a talented card maker too! I so enjoy getting to know fellow paper crafters through the Etsy Inspired Challenge and as you read Heather's blog and get to know her a little better this month, I'm sure you'll agree that she is just the sweetest!

Here is what Heather had to share about herself.

My name is Heather, I'm a wife to one hot fella and a mom to 2 wonderful boys. Lance is 3.5 and Adam is 9 mo. I've been stamping for the past 6 years and illustrating stamps for the past 3. My passions include my family, my faith, my stamping addictions, and anything to do with sports or outdoors. I one day hope to hold down a spot on SNL as the next "Tina Fey" OR live in the woods! Hehehe...I think I have a better chance at the 2nd one! I consider myself to be a nerdie inside and out, so bare with me as I get my nerd on. That tends to happen a lot, may as well embrace it huh?

See, I told you she was adorable! :) Now for a peek at what she will be bringing to the team and challenges this month.

Super cute, right?! Be sure to pay Heather a visit and give her a warm welcome!

This week's EtsyInspired shop is Sand Box Studio. This shop specializes in funky and fun gift boxes, bags, and bunco games. This shop carries lots of bright and cheery items that are reusable which I love since it's always good to be environmentally sounds. And how fun are the bunco games? I belong to a bunco group and it would be so fun to have a box like the ones in this shop to keep all our game supplies in! This shop also offers custom work, you just have to contact the shop owner. This week, they are giving away the bird market bag seen on the left here.

Please Welcome our June Guest Designer...

Alex Lundgren! We are excited to have Alex joining us this month...she has a great style!

Here's what Alex had to share about herself:

I live in Idaho with my husband and our 2 sons. I work part-time in the financial industry and in addition to paper crafts, I also crochet, knit and dabble in some tatting and sewing.

I was first introduced to stamping at a D.O.T.S. home party in the early 90s. I enjoyed myself and began what is now a very extensive inventory of stamps and stamp sets. I put my stamping aside for a period of time when I was first introduced to scrapbooking. I had the mistaken idea that the two were not compatible. I began scrapbooking in 1998 while on bed rest prior to the birth of my son. I have been passionate about it ever since and have really returned to stamping with the same passion about 2 years ago. I enjoy making cards with stamps immensely.

I have a very BLING side and also a Goth side that needs to come out and play. They seem to balance each other out. I often find myself covered in glitter with inky fingers. Nothing is better! I am drawn to anything fairy, but am an equal opportunity stamper.

Here is a peek at some of Alex's work.

I love the intricate details of these cards...I told you she had great style! :)

Be sure to stop by Alex's blog to say 'hello' and visit her tomorrow to see her first Etsy Inspired project!
