EIC #117 {Paper Seeds}

Please Welcome...

Our December Guest Designer, Laurel Beard!

Now, many of you may already have seen Laurel's work, especially her beautiful card that she created for this week's Etsy Inspired Challenge, but let's get to know her a little better, shall we?!

I have lived in Florida all my life. I am married to a Navy Pilot and have an adorable soon to be 5 year old son! I have been paper crafting for about a year and a half. I would define myself as a clean and simple designer. I like to think I have come a long way since my first project, which was an absolutely HORRID altered clipboard I made for my son's teachers. Some of my favorite techniques are heat embossing and distress inks. I just recently fell in love with Copic markers, although I have no clue how to use them properly. But I am sure having fun trying to figure it out...

DT Call - January 1 thru June 30th

It's time for an EtsyInspired DT call! We are looking for new team members as well as a few guest designers. Each term lasts 6 months - this term is January 1, 2011 through June 30th, 2011. Guest designers will be on a month by month basis.  
This call will be open until midnight PST December 10th.  

The first post of the new term will be Saturday, January 1st with the last post being Saturday, June 25th. 

Accepted applicants will be emailed prior to the announcement on the blog.

DT Requirements:

~YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE BLOG to be on this DT

~Post one project a week using the chosen shop as your inspiration. Write a blog post about your project mentioning the shop, sponsor, and any prizes offered. Post will be due on your blog on Saturday mornings by 7am Pacific time.

~Links to the DT on your blog

~Check in on our Proboards to keep up to date on shops, events, and promos

~Promote EtsyInspired challenge wherever you can ie forums, Facebook, your blog. Minimum once a week in addition to your Saturday post.

~Comment on challenge player entries as often as possible.

~Participate in any promotions or events we might have i.e. blog hops, anniversaries, etc.

~Being part of a fun, creative team!!!
