>> Saturday, November 20, 2010

Hello and welcome back EtsyInspired friends!

It's time to visit another Etsy store for more inspiration! This week we are visiting Queen of Tarts Cakes. This Etsy store is super SWEET! They sell cookies--mmmm! They hand bake each cookie and some of their cookie cutters are handmade! WOW--check out these yummy treats.  ALSO, check out their sister shop, Queen of Tarts Wafers!  They sell edible image wafers for your cookies and cupcakes! Super cute images you can transfer to your baked goods!
Queen of Tarts Cakes / Queen of Tarts Wafers has generously offered one of our players a free holiday edible image on wafer paper for home bakers to make their own Christmas cookies using one dozen unique images. They will also include a written tutorial on how to apply to sugar cookies, plus a recipe for the dough and icing. YUM! The winner will pick from these two images--

Our sponsor this week is InchieArts. Here is some information from InchieArts:::
Our product is by definition are matteboard squares, albeit the highest quality artist grade, solid core matteboard available in the industry. It is because of this quality that the material is unique in the marketplace and why you can use wet mediums from watercolor paints, stains, inks etc without the surface deteriorating. We have three sizes--Inchie Square, Inchie + Square and Twinchie Square. We would love for you to visit our blog {HERE} for different creative ideas. What a FUN product to use on lots of projects! InchieArts has offered up a prize package worth $25 for one of our players! HOORAY! Here is a link for FAQ: http://inchiearts.typepad.com/inchie_art....-questions.html

EtsyInspired #113 ~ Putu Princess Escapes

>> Friday, November 5, 2010

Hi Friends! It's Ashley here to write the EtsyInspired post this week. Wow, it's been awhile since I've actually blogged on this blog! Crazy, huh?

This week's EtsyInspired shop is Putu Princess Escape. Putu Princess Escapes specializes in stencil painted shirts. They have lots of awesome Asian inspired designs. One cool thing about these shirts is that the decoration isn't just on the front. Some shirts have designs on the back and some have designs on the sleeve. They have long sleeve and short sleeve shirts. They also carry maternity shirts. This week, Putu Princess Escapes is giving away one in stock t-shirt of the winner's choice.

To play along:
~Go to the Putu Princess Escapes shop and pick an item to be inspired by
~Make any creation you'd like and post a link to your creation on the InLinkz below
~Please include a link to the shop in your post

~If you upload to an online gallery please use keyword EIC113

Here's a bit about our sponsor this week:

Some Odd Girl is the place to find fun and quirky digis that I know you will love! Some Odd Girl was inspired by two great friends who are such dolls! They took one of my pencil drawings and made it into red rubber and that act of generosity spiraled into what you see today. I am a married FTWM of 2 who has a hubby who not only loves me but supports my crafting and my site as my IT guy. What more could a girl want? I am an artist born who started out with pencils then acrylics and now scrapbook and am a cardmaker. I design things that I love and hope you have as much fun with our stamps as we do! Join us on September 21 for the release of our new Tinies line and don't forget about our monthly freebies and SOG Points program. Our Challenge Blog has bi-weekly fun that hopefully will help inspire you to use your digis!

Some Odd Girl
is offering up 3 digis of the winner's choice this week as another prize.

Our November Guest Designer, Angie Blom!

Let's get to know Angie a little better...

I am a stay at home mom with a wonderful and supportive husband, Roger and two fun loving kids...Alex 15 and Sydney 4. I have been scrapbooking for the last 12 years and in the past two years have gotten into making cards. I love that you can get the quick (well sometimes) crafty fix just making a card or two...you don't have to think about filling a whole page. It is quite wonderful. At the moment I am making a ton of Christmas cards and selling them to friends and family...about 100 a week...I know, crazy right. I honestly thought I would only be making a couple dozen, but it is growing every week...wish me luck. I am so excited to be guest designing this month! I look forward to getting to know you all better and look forward to working with these awesome Etsy Designers.

Here are a few of my favorite projects from Angie's blog.

Isn't she super talented?! I can't wait to see what fun projects she comes up with for our challenges this month! Be sure to stop back by on Saturday for a new challenge!
