Etsy Inspired Challenge #87 - Lindsay Brackeen

>> Friday, May 7, 2010

Hi all! Welcome to another Etsy Inspired Challenge! Our featured Etsy shop this week, Lindsay Brackeen, is filled with great original artwork and prints that are vintage modern with a touch of whimsy. I fell in love with her use of color and her fun alphabet prints that incorporate a lot of texture too. Here are a few of my personal favorites from Lindsay's shop:

To go along with this fabulous shop, we have a great new sponsor too...Practicing Creativity. The owner of Practicing Creativity, Courtney Baker, has been one of our guest designers before and we are so excited to have her new company as our sponsor this week! Practicing Creativity will be giving one lucky winner the Key to My Heart stamp set. And they have just released a great new Dad/masculine set called You're the Man that I would definitely recommend checking out.

Our Etsy shop this week, Lindsay Brackeen, will also be giving away a prize...an 8x10 print of the winner's choice! How awesome is that?!

Ready to play?
- Visit Lindsay Brackeen's shop and find an item that inspires you
- Create a project of your own based off that inspiration
- Link your project up on this post using the new InLinkz below by Friday, May 14 at noon PST

Everyone will be entered into a random drawing to win. If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use keyword EIC87. And please remember to give credit to the shop that you found your inspiration from.

And if this is your first time joining us...welcome! You can check out extra details about our challenge HERE.

A special shout out to all the Mothers out there...we hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!

Visit these lovely ladies for extra inspiration!

This was fun! I added my Hippo on Mushrooms card! I hand-made my box flower out of a scallop punch!

I find Lindsay Brackeen's shop very inspiring. I made a sail boat card with the new Treehouse digital iamge. So glad to see you use InlinkZ now! It's the best system! Thanks to Courtney for sponsoring this fun challenge!
